The second round of the Puerto Rican Electric Touring Series took place last weekend in PitLaneâ™s RC Track. The traction was high all day from and the layout was very fast with many hairpin turns which meant speed and acceleration would play an integral part in the carâ™s setup. We were able to TQ in the first of two qualifiers ahead of Jose Colon also driving an XRAY T4.
In A1, we started from pole position but had to retire early due to a broken sensor cable. The next two legs were crucial if we wanted to secure a podium finish.
In A2 and A3, the car felt really good and was able to maintain a lead over fellow XRAY driver Jose Colon. The car ended up driving really easy with all the setup changes made in the morning practices and proved to be very fast in lap times.
